Cinnamon Rolls Round 3

So. I think I found my new favorite cinnamon roll recipe from hungry gnomes. It’s quick, easy, and delicious like my Keurig coffee maker.

  • 1 cup warm milk (Just nuke it)
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons (1 package) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Add milk, sugar, and yeast to a small bowl, mix and let sit for 10 minutes
  3. Mix flour, salt, butter, and eggs in medium bowl with dough hook or by hand, to form dough
  4. Add yeast mix to dough and knead until well combined
  5. Put the dough into an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise until it is double in size.
  6. When the dough is done rising, roll it out on a floured surface until it is about 12 x 16 in and about 1/4-inch thick.
  7. Mix the cinnamon, sugars, and butter  together and spread evenly onto the rolled dough. ( I added my apple sauce juices to the filling and it ended up BOMB)
  8. Carefully roll the dough along the longest edge and slice into 2 inch slices.
  9. Place into a baking dish, flat side down. The rolls will double in size while baking so leave some room for expansion.
  10. Bake for 20-25 min or until golden brown.

If you want, you can always whip up a little glaze with 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 cup butter, and slowly add milk to get the right consistence.
